The Challenge
The Knox Medical Centre was a project with a new architecture firm that we hadn’t collaborated with before. During our initial discussions, they presented several challenges, including the need for a retractable door, multiple columns, and reception desks. The client was looking for something unique and custom.

The Solution
After considering various options, we settled on using our Aus Slat panel, a flat blank veneer panel. For aesthetic and acoustic purposes, we created 18mm x 18mm veneer battens. These battens were strategically used at the front of the shop and in the waiting area to control noise and provide an appealing look. Additionally, our Aus Slat panels were applied to various wall sections throughout the fit-out.
The Outcome
The final installation successfully addressed the client’s functional and aesthetic requirements, providing a distinctive and custom solution that enhanced both the visual appeal and acoustic environment of the medical centre.
