The Challenge
We were tasked with providing images for trains, boom gates, and level crossings to be printed on our Quattro panels. Some of these prints were up to 15 meters long. However, the artwork provided was of standard quality, which posed a significant challenge when scaling up to such large sizes. The low-quality images led to issues with pixelation.
The Solution
To address the pixelation issue without requiring the client to redo the artwork—given the time-sensitive nature of the project—we implemented a series of test prints. We discovered that using two darker colors mitigated the pixelation effectively. After several rounds of testing, we achieved a satisfactory quality level.
The Outcome
Our innovative approach allowed us to meet the client’s requirements without delaying the project. The client was very pleased with our solution and the timely delivery.
